What’s the difference between SEO and GEO?

SEO optimises for ranking on a search results page. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) optimises for being cited inside an AI assistant’s answer. The underlying foundations — schema, entity, content quality, authority — overlap heavily, which is why running them as one programme outperforms two separate retainers.

Do I still need traditional SEO if AI is eating search?

Yes — for now. Google still drives the majority of commercial-intent discovery, and AI Overviews are a Google product. Strong SEO foundations are what make a brand citable by AI in the first place. The shift is not SEO → GEO. It’s SEO → SEO + GEO.

Can you work with our existing dev or content team?

Yes. I work transparently with your team. Schema and technical fixes go through your dev. Content production runs through your editorial team (with structural briefs from me). I review whether the work is actually translating to citations and rankings.

Do you handle local SEO and international SEO?

Both. Local SEO (Google Business Profile, local schema, hreflang, geo-targeted content) is handled inside the engagement. International SEO is supported for India + GCC + UK + US + APAC.
